Two-way players headline ENE All-NWOK Second Team

It’s time to reveal the Enid News & Eagle All-Northwest Oklahoma Second Team for the baseball season.

The ENE All-NWOK Second Team includes:

JEVIN FOWLER — ENID

Fowler came along as one of the top pitchers in Class 6A, recording a 2.20 ERA and 38 strikeouts in 49 2/3 innings of work on the mound.

TODD MUELLER — CHISHOLM

Mueller shined on the bump and at the plate. He collected 49 hits and 36 RBIs, while posting a 3.32 ERA, with 46 strikeouts in 46 1/3 innings pitched.

ZIAH FAW FAW — PIONEER

Faw Faw tamed opposing offenses. He finished with a 1.97 ERA and 88 strikeouts this season.

JAX HOBBS — DRUMMOND

Hobbs was a two-way star on the Bulldogs. He finished with a 2.35 ERA on the mound, and he posted a .429 batting average and 43 hits at the plate this past year.

CASEN BUCK — DOVER

Buck was a key player in Dover’s run toward the Class B State Tournament. He had a 2.45 ERA, and he collected 11 doubles and two triples at the plate this season.

EASTON BELL — PIONEER

Bell made an immediate impact at Pioneer, finishing with a .407 batting average and 44 RBIs on offense this year.

BRYCE COCKAYNE — DOVER

Cockayne was another key contributor on the Longhorns, collecting .472 batting average and 40 strikeouts on the mound this year.

SADLER GREB — TIMBERLAKE

Greb was one of the top hitters

CAL CAYOT — OBA

Cayot was one of the top pitchers in Northwest Oklahoma, finishing with a 1.56 ERA and 84 strikeouts in 62 _ innings pitched this year.

TYSON ARNOLD — CHISHOLM

With a .441 batting average, 49 hits and 30 RBIs, Arnold helped the Longhorns to a 25-15 record this season.

BRAXTON RYEL — DRUMMOND

Ryel dominated at the plate and on the mound. He finished with a .389 batting average, and he posted a 3.10 ERA and 42 strikeouts this year.

CHASE PIRTLE — KREMLIN-HILLSDALE

Pirtle, who was named the Cherokee Strip Conference Pitcher of the Year, collected 196 strikeouts in his high school career.
